MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

NOAA 2898 (S24E10) regained penumbral area
within its trailing area but only produced one A-class
event since the last message. The target will switch
for at least today to a rapidly developing EFR located
about 15 degrees west of 2898. The EFR was the
source of numerous A- and B-class events in the
past 24 hours. The largest event was a B5.0
at 11/26/10:50 UT. The EFR is displaying bright H-alpha
plage and dark arch-type filaments. Include, if possible,
NOAA 2898 within your FOV. A- and B-class events
expected with the chance of a C-class event if the
EFR continues to develop in the next 24 hour period.

The position of the target on November 26 at 15:00 UT is:
S28W05 (Solar X = 075", Solar Y = -450")
