Dear Collaborators,

NOAA 12866/12868 has rotated beyond the west limb. Today the target
will switch to a new region near the east limb. This region has produced
a B2.3 flare as well as a C3.5 just in the past two hours. Further B- and
C-class activities are expected with a chance of an M-class flare if this
region had a complex magnetic configuration.

The approximate position of the limb target on September 17 at 05:00 UT is:

S30E85 (-880", -400")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
