Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity was at a very low level in the past 24 hours.
The largest event of the period was a C2.9 at 08/21/04:48 UT
emergent from NOAA 13081 (N11W54, alpha/H-type). The
target region NOAA 13078 only produced two B-class flares
and has decayed to a beta-gamma/D-type configuration. At
this time we end the Major Flare Watch campaign. 13078 is
rotating over the west limb. We will watch this region for final
24 hours. Only C- and B-class activities are expected in the
next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 13078 on August 21 at 03:30 UT is:

S24W76 (840", -408")

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
