MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

The largest event since the last message was a
C5.1 at 02/25/21:40. Its source was the east
limb region located at S26. The region currently
appears to be a spotless decaying plage but it is still
too close to the limb to ascertain if it has sunspots.
It is most likely the return of old NOAA 2944. Target
region NOAA 2955 is mostly unchanged. A C-class
event is possible in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2955 on February 26 at 15:00 UT is:
N16E13 (Solar X = -210", Solar Y = 380")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
