MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

The target region NOAA 2916 (S16W59, E-type/beta)
is the largest region on the visible disk. 2916 continues to
slowly decay and was quiescent since the last message.
NOAA 2918 is displaying a simple B-type/beta sunspot
group with only a few small spots but it was the source
of an isolated M1.1 event at 01/01/07:30 UT. 2918
has been the source of several C-class events for the
past few days. The target will switch to 2918 for at
least the next 24 hour period. A C-class event is
possible with a very slight chance of another M-class
event.

The position of NOAA 2918 on January 01 at 16:30 UT is:
N22W77 (Solar X =881", Solar Y = 376")
