Dear Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate-to-high. Target region NOAA 13242
grew slightly in terms of spot area and longitudinal extent since the last
message, increasing its classification to a beta/E-type sunspot group. NOAA
13242 continued to produce C-class events in the period along with an M1.0
flare on 5-Mar-2023 at 16:24 UT. NOAA 13243 also grew in spot area and was
reclassified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region produced two >M5
flares, including the largest flare in the period - an M5.8 on 6-Mar-2023
at 02:08 UT. At this time we are commencing a new MM#003 Major Flare Watch
on NOAA 13243, as this region retains the potential for more >M5 flares in
the following 24-hour period.

The position of NOAA 13243 on 6-Mar-2023 at 15:00 UT is:

N18W72 , ( 876", 332" )
