Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has reached moderate levels since the last
message. The target region NOAA 13413 has produced
three consecutive M1 flares (M1.0, M1.2, M1.2) beginning
at 02:20 UT today. This region was also the source of
several C1 flares. It retains its beta/D-type sunspot group
with an apparent increase in sunspot area. 13413 shall
continue as the target due to its high frequency of flaring
and high current helicity. Please note that NOAA 13415
(S09W51, beta/D-type) also produced two B-class flares.
Further C-class activities are expected with a chance for
another low-M flare in the next 24-48 hours.

The position of NOAA 13413 on 1-Sep-2023 at 11:30 UT

N09W69 (877",105")
