Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13425 has
decayed slightly in sunspot area and number of spots since the
last message and was confirmed as a beta/D-type sunspot group.
This region has produced two low C-class events in the period,
while NOAA 13423 (beta/E-type sunspot group) increased in its
frequency of flaring and produced the largest magnitude event
in the period (a C8.3 flare on 10-Sep-2023 at 01:41 UT). The
target switches to NOAA 13423 due to its higher flaring rate.
C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 13423 on 10-Sep-2023 at 18:00 UT is:
N12W13 , ( 209", 82" )
