MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a high level. The largest event in the period was an
M4.7 flare at 11:54 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 13536,
which also produced over ten C-class flares and has now developed
into a beta-delta region. The Major Flare Watch will continue for this
region due to its high current helicity and magnetic complexity. More
C-class activities are expected, with a good chance of additional
M-class flares.

The position of NOAA 13536 on 2-Jan-2024 at 08:30 UT is:

N06E58, (-824",129")

De-Chao Song (Purple Mountain Observatory)
