| I'm
spending the summer at Montana State University working for the Solar REU
Program. I've been working in the Space Science and Engineering Lab
(SSEL) in Cobleigh Hall on the
Maia Satellite
. My projects include re-designing the square magnetorquer coils
and beginning the design process for the Sun Sensor. Both projects
are part of the Attitude Determination and Control Subsystem (ADCS).
By the end of my ten weeks here the square magnetorquer coils will be in the
milling process and the sun sensor will have been through it's initial
test. |
