Stacy's Solar REU Homepage
Welcome! I'm Stacy Gaard and
am from Ellsworth, WI.
Currently, I am a senior at Valparaiso University where I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in meteorology with minors in physics and mathematics. This summer I am in Bozeman, MT doing research for the MSU Solar Physics Group as part of the REU program funded by the National Science Foundation. I am working with Dr. Dibyendu Nandi, and Dr. Richard C. Canfield on determining the role of twists and its evolution in flaring activity of solar active regions. (Project Description) See below for more information on my research. |
