Energetic Events Begin Max End Rgn Loc Xray Op 245MHz 10cm Sweep 1508 1514 1518 0290 N15E07 C3.7 Sf 150 1946 1950 1954 0290 C4.3 190 70 B. Proton Events: None C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to active. The disturbed periods are due to a declining high speed solar wind stream. This high speed stream began the period near 700 km/s, but declined slowly throughout the day to 550 km/s by the end of the period. D. Stratwarm: STRATWARM ALERT / FRIDAY / STRATWARM EXISTS. THE WAVE TWO FORMATION IS STILL EVIDENT. THERE IS A REVERSED TEMPERATURE GRADIENT THROUGHOUT THE STRATOSPHERE AND EASTERLY WINDS AT 1 HPA AT 60N. E.
