Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity
SDF Number 095 Issued at 2200Z on 05 Apr 2007
IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 04/2100Z
to 05/2100Z: Solar activity remained at very low levels. The
visible solar disk was void of sunspots. No new regions were
numbered today.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain
at very low levels.
IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 04/2100Z to 05/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels. The greater than 2 MeV
electron flux at geosynchronous orbit was at high levels today.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be at quiet levels on 06 and 07 April. The onset of a
recurrent coronal hole should begin late on 08 April allowing for
possible unsettled conditions to isolated active periods.
