:Product: 0201RSGA.txt :Issued: 2008 Feb 01 2203 UTC # Prepared jointly by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, # Space Weather Prediction Center and the U.S. Air Force. # Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity SDF Number 032 Issued at 2200Z on 01 Feb 2008 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 31/2100Z to 01/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low. IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 31/2100Z to 01/2100Z: The geomagnetic field was quiet to active. Solar wind measurements at the ACE spacecraft indicated signatures consistent with a co rotating interaction region around 31/0900Z. This was followed by a coronal hole high speed stream commencing around 31/21Z. IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be unsettled with isolated periods of active conditions due to the influence of the coronal hole high speed stream. III.
