:Product: 0305RSGA.txt :Issued: 2010 Mar 05 2200 UTC # Prepared jointly by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, # Space Weather Prediction Center and the U.S. Air Force. # Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity SDF Number 064 Issued at 2200Z on 05 Mar 2010 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 04/2100Z to 05/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. Todays flare activity consisted of just a few, low-level B-class events. Regions 1052 (S16W82) and 1053 (S22W89) appeared to be quieter today as they approached the west limb. A small, slow CME was observed on the west limb at about 05/0054Z and was associated with a weak wave in STEREO-A EUVI imagery. The wave appeared to originate near Region 1051 (N16W53). IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low for the next three days (06-08 March). IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 04/2100Z to 05/2100Z: The geomagnetic field was quiet during the past 24 hours. IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet for the next three days (06-08 March). III.
