:Product: 0326RSGA.txt :Issued: 2010 Mar 26 2200 UTC # Prepared jointly by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, # Space Weather Prediction Center and the U.S. Air Force. # Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity SDF Number 085 Issued at 2200Z on 26 Mar 2010 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 25/2100Z to 26/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. Region 1057 (N15E30) has grown in size and increased in classification to a Dki Beta. New Region 1058 (N25W21) remains stable and quiet as a Axx Alpha spot. A filament was observed lifting off the SW quadrant of the disk around 26/07Z. An associated weak limb event CME is visible on LASCO C3 coronagraph imagery. IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be low with C-class flares likely, and a slight chance for an M-class flare over the next three days (27-29 March). IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 25/2100Z to 26/2100Z: The geomagnetic field was quiet. IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled with the possibility of an isolated active period over the next 3 days (27-29 March). III.
