Energetic Events Begin Max End Rgn Loc Xray Op 245MHz 10cm Sweep None B. Proton Events: The greater than 10 MeV proton flux reached a peak level of 3 pfu at 29/0150 UTC but have since returned to near background levels. C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet for the first portion of day one (30 Dec). Mid to late on day one the anticipated arrival of the 28 Dec CME is expected, likely increasing field conditions to active through severe storm levels. Day two (31 Dec) will likely see minor storm levels early in the day before subsiding CME effects lower field conditions to mostly unsettled to active levels. Day three (01 Jan), is expected to be quiet to active with the arrival of the above mentioned CIR/CH HSS. D. Stratwarm: Not Available E.
