Letter of invitation |
Dear Harsh Mathur
On behalf of the organizing committee, I cordially invite you to give a talk at Hinode-17/IRIS-15/SPHERE-3 joint science meeting to be held in Bozeman, Montana, USA for the period July 23-27, 2024. We were motivated to invite you on the basis of your recent submission of the abstract titled, "Unraveling the stratification of the chromospheric magnetic field using the H-alpha line". This will be an international conference drawing over 150 of the top solar scientists from across North America, Asia and Europe, with the purpose of reporting and discussing scientific results from the Hinode and IRIS satellites. This year the conference will be co-convened with the third Solar Physics High Energy Research (SPHERE) workshop, which follows from the highly successful RHESSI workshop series. Scientific presentations will focus on the Sun's atmospheric ecosystem: studies of the multifaceted Sun from radio to hard X-rays. Emphases include connecting high energy activity with observations from Hinode, IRIS, and future missions; the physical mechanisms driving the solar atmosphere; and information services for collaborative data acquisition by multiple observatories. We will provide up to $700 to partially cover your traval expenses incurred for conference registration and accommodation. You will be reimbursed for the travel expenses after the completion of your travel in exchange for the proof of payment. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
