The course is designed to keep us up-to-date with the latest developments in astrophysics. Each week, someone will present a short review of a hot topic that interests them. The topics can be drawn from newspaper articles, magazine articles, the Los Alamos archives or from Letter Journals. Even movies are acceptable, so long as the science is properly reviewed.
Discussion leaders should distribute readings to participants' mailboxes before colloquium Friday (list of seminar attendees here). An e-mail distribution list of people interested in astrophysical subjects has also been created.
Graduates and undergraduates can take the seminar for credit. Faculty members are encouraged to participate.
