REPORT: Success! I was able to construct full sun images (as well as movies for each). One of the major problems
that was resolved was that the loop was not accounting for the way the sun was scanned
on that date. For February 2 and 4 the slits were scanned 1 arcsecond apart so the
full disk keeps a spherical shape. However for June 6 and 17 the slits were scanned
3 arcseconds apart - which is why the full disks appear squashed. I had to go into a
paper given to me by Suman to understand this difference in scanning technique specifically -
see link below for paper.
Another great experience this summer was getting more exposure to scientific papers
and how to read them properly/get the most use out of them.
