 1. Solar Activity ------------------------------------------------------------

    Solar activity becomes gradually lower in this week.
    Some C class and B class flares occurred at NOAA 7834.
    NOAA 7834 is now beyond the limb.

 2. Standard Operations --------------------------------------------------------

   2.2 STT Timer Set

     STT Timer was set at the 2nd contact on Tuesday, Feb 7.


 3. Special Operations -------------------------------------------------------

     No special operation.

 4. Errors & Problems --------------------------------------------------------

   4.1  SXT and BCS errors.

     BCS error occurred on pass 950208-0206, which was recovered
     successfully on the following pass.

   4.2 Problems

     When starting the RASM, we had a message: "You are #3 in the queue.
     Do you want to wait?", and could not proceed ahead. This happened on
     Feb. 9 and was recovered after Greg-san called JPL. They did not
     explain the reason.


 5. DSN Communications ------------------------------------------------------

   5.1 DSN Strawman Schedule for W09

     There were 15 DSN conflicts with ASUKA in the strawman schedule.
     YOHKOH gets 7 of them and ASUKA has 8.
     We canceled a total of 25 DSN contacts from the strawman schdule.

   5.2 DSN Forecast Schedule for W08

     We canceled a total of 11 DSN contacts from the forecast schdule.

   5.3 DSN Final Schedule for W07

     There was no cancellation for W07.

   5.4 DSN Final Schedule for W06

     We cancelled 4 DSN contacts from the final schedule because they were
     very close to next contacts.

 6. Yohkoh/ASCA Pass Conflicts --------------------------------------------

    In week 06, we lost the following KCS passes used by ASCA:

             950208-0516 (4th pass of Feb 08, from 07:57 UT)
             950209-0414 (3rd pass of Feb 09, from 06:34 UT)
             950209-0517 (4th pass of Feb 09, from 08:17 UT)
             950210-0514 (4th pass of Feb 10, from 06:54 UT)

 7. Holiday Schedule -------------------------------------------------------

    The next operational holiday will be on Monday, Feb 20, when KSC will 
    back up GEOTAIL operation.

 8. Hikitsugi Items --------------------------------------------------------

   8.2 STT timer setting

     The next STT timer set is due on Tuesday (14-Feb-95).

   8.3 DSN Data:

     There is no delay.

   8.4 GBO mail list

     PLease delete following two addresses from the GBO mailing list:
       altrock@sunspot.noao.edu, according to the request by himself,
       and
       muller@mesioa.obspm.fr, because of user unknown.

   8.5 Terminators

     SXT Chief Observer is asking the toban; we should obseerve all
     possible terminators this week. As soon as the orbital elements are
     available, OP_FIRST_GUESS should be run for all days through Saturday,
     18 Feb, so that the terminator predictions will be available for use
     by the SXT Chief Observer.
