Test of image improvement and data loss
from use of long exposure images in composite
images prepared with the present SFD compression
algorithm.
 
I conclude that most of the truncated signal
is noise and that for movie use we should go
ahead and include the long exposure images
whenever possible because of the dramatic
improvement in statistical quality.
