Home Conclusion and Thanks  My Job

My REU experience was a tad different from everyone else's in that I didn't live in the dorm and this web page was the most I ever touched a computer.  I learned quite a bit about vacuum technology, though, and while the optics kept my brain busy, the numerous vacuum dilemmas Corey, Rich, and I handled made the summer go quickly and painlessly.  I'd like to thank Charles of course, not only for hiring me, but taking real care to keep me interested and happy.  Dave McKenzie and Piet Martens were wonderful for setting everything up, and answering any questions.  Meghan Kaline, our MAP student, was a good help and a great incentive to make sure I knew my stuff.  Also, thanks to the rest of the REU students, whom I really enjoyed hanging out with.
