First
I
want to begin by showing you where is Colombia in a map:
Colombia is located in the northwestern tip of South America.
Most
of the country is located in the northern hemisphere, and the equator
passes through the southern tip of the country. This makes
Colombian
climate very
temperate
and set completely by altitude, which can vary quite a bit.
We don’t have seasons beside rain seasons and
dry seasons, and depending on were you are on the mountains you can
have an
annual average temperature that can go from 90oF
during the day, in the coasts and jungles, to
50oF or
less during the day,
in the mountains. Colombia
also has coast both in the Pacific and in the Atlantic ocean and its
neighbors are Panama to the west, Venezuela and Brazil to the East,
and
Peru and Ecuador to the South.
