Presentation Title: | The Chinese ASO-S and CHASE Missions and the Maximum Millennium Program |
Author(s): | Ying Li |
Abstract:
The Chinese missions of the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory (ASO-S) and the Chinese Hα Solar Explorer (CHASE), launched on 2022 October 9 and 2021 October 14, respectively, provide full-disk images and two-dimensional spectra in multiple wavelengths. These can be served as references in selection of a target region for solar observers, which is the goal of the Maximum Millennium Program. In this poster, I will present the instruments and quick-look images from these two Chinese space missions, as well as how to use these near-real-time images to help select the flaring target region for coordination observations.
