Presentation Title: The Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope: update and first results
Author(s): G. Cauzzi on behalf of the DKIST Team

Abstract:

The 4-m, National Science Foundation Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST) is the most advanced and largest solar telescope currently operating, opening new diagnostic windows into solar magnetism at unprecedented resolutions. Science operation started in 2022, providing observations for both PI-led proposals and community programs; much of this data is now publicly available through the DKIST Data Center.

In this talk, I will present a brief update on the status of the telescope and its instruments, as well as current science operations and first results, with an emphasis on investigations of magnetism and structure of the outer solar atmosphere.
