MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1589 developed a weak delta configuration and is
now classified E-type/beta-gamma-delta but only managed
to produce one C-class event since the last message.
A region located behind the northeastern limb at N13 was
the source of an occulted C4.8 event at 10/14/02:27 UT.
The target will continue to be 1589 for at least one more
24 hour period with a possible switch to the northeastern
limb region tomorrow. Both regions could produce C-class
events with a chance of an isolated M-class event as well in
the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1589 on October 14 at 02:30 UT is:
