Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. Several flares were produced, the largest being a C8.5 from newly numbered active region NOAA 14114 at 19:07 UT yesterday. NOAA 14105 has shown an increase in emerging flux and notable sunspot activity in the last 24 hours, as it approaches the southwestern limb. Additionally, NOAA 14107 is now classified as a beta-delta region and both regions have increased in apparent sunspot area. While the flare production from NOAA 14105 has been relatively average, the increased activity in this region will continue to be monitored and it will remain the target region. Further C-class activity is expected with a very small chance of a low M-class event.
The position of NOAA 14105 on 12-June-2025 at 11:30 UT is
