Solar activity is increasing due to the activities from the region
located behind the Southeast limb, with the largest being a C8.9
eruptive flare at 20:46 UT yesterday (a link to the movie of this
event shown below). This region appears to be the source of the C3.9
flare on 7/14, as well as 3 low-to-mid C class flares reported in the
last 24 hours. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14489 produced a C1.5 flare
at 18:03 UT yesterday (7/15), but has quietened since then.
