Solar activity remains low. A small number of flares were produced since the last message, the largest being a C2.0 from an unnumbered active region toward the disk centre (slightly above the listed position of NOAA 14491) at 09:06 UT today. Newly numbered active region 14492 has rotated over the northeastern limb and is likely associated with the recent flaring activity in this region over the previous days. Currently, an accurate determination of the complexity and size of NOAA 14492 requires the region to rotate further onto the disk, however the region shows notable signs of emerging flux. For now, NOAA 14492 will be the target region and should be monitored for further activity. Additional C-class events are expected.
