Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region, NOAA 11476, produced an unexpected M5.1 flare at 01:30 UT today, which resulted in a >100 MeV proton storm. As the region is now on the western limb further major flaring activity is unlikely. However, NOAA 11476 shall remain the target region with a chance of producing additional low-to-intermediate level activity before west limb passage.

The position of NOAA 11476 on 17-May-2012 at 09:00 UT is:

N13W78, ( 905", 221" )
