Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A newly emerged active region on the north western limb, designated NOAA 11583, was the source of an M1 flare at 04:33 UT today and shall be the new target region. The region is classified as having a beta configuration and may produce further low to intermediate level events before it rotates over the western limb.

The position of NOAA 11583 on 30-Sep-2012 at 12:00 UT is:

N13W82, ( 924", 198" )
