Solar activity has persisted at a low to moderate level. Multiple flares have been produced since the last message, the largest being an M3.6 from NOAA 14493 at 06:27 UT today. NOAA 14493 remains highly productive, retaining its beta-gamma-delta classification and more than doubling in size. While we are yet to see a major flare from this region, the high level of flux and sunspot dynamism warrants the continuation of the major flare watch campaign. The major flare watch will remain active for the next 24 hours. Further C- and low M-class activity is likely with a slight chance for an isolated >M5.0 event.
