Solar activity continues at a low level. A number of low C-class flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being an occulted C1.4 from an unnumbered active region beyond the southeastern limb at 05:28 UT today. The target region is now numbered as NOAA 14288. This region is currently classified as an alpha-type region, however this is expected to change as the region moves further onto the disk. NOAA 14288 will continue as the target region, with further C-class activity expected over the next 24 hours.
