Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. A new
small spot group (>50uhemi) is emerging with a delta
spot (designated NOAA 11891). So far, the region
was responsible for several C-class events.
Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11890) was
responsible for further C-class activity and two
M-class events since the previous message: a M2.3
on 7-Nov-2013 at 3:40 UT and a M2.4 on 7-Nov-2013
at 14:25 UT. The shearing motions within 11890
appear to have subsided, although two positive
umbrae within the large elongated negative following
spot still appear strong. The current MFW will
continue for at least the following 24 hours. Further
M-class activity is possible, with a chance for a high
M-class event.
The position of NOAA 11890 on 7-Nov-2013 at 18:40 UT is:
S11E14, ( -227", -244" )
