Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has slightly decreased since the last message. The largest
event during the period was a C8.4 flare at 18:09 UT yesterday, attributed
to NOAA 14178 (N09W70, beta-gamma/D-type). Two flares from the target
region NOAA 14172 (N08W39, beta-gamma/E-type) and NOAA 14168
(now beyond the northwest limb) also contributed to the soft X-ray flux.
NOAA 14172 and NOAA 14178 also produced several low C-class flares
during the period. Today, NOAA 14172 shall remain the target region due to
its ongoing flux emergence. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight
chance of a low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 14172 on 13-Aug-2025 at 11:30 UT is:

N08W39 (592",47")
