Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity levels remain low but have increased very slightly since the last message. Numerous flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being a C2.0 from newly numbered active region NOAA 14420 at 14:15 UT yesterday. NOAA 14420 was the source of 18 flares since the last message, currently located in the northeastern quadrant of the solar disk. This region is classified as a beta-gamma type region with notable levels of sunspot dynamism. The target region will switch to NOAA 14420 for the next 24 hours, further C-class activity is expected.

The position of NOAA 14420 on 22-April-2026 at 11:30 UT is:

N16E45, (-650",  319")
