Solar activity has slightly decreased from the last message.
The target region, NOAA 14341 produced an M1.2 flare at 23:46 UT
yesterday(1/17) from the area of mixed polarity in the West vicinity
of the main sunspot. In addition, 2 C class flares were from this
region, while a C7.2 event at 06:01 UT today was from the East side
of the main sunspot. NOAA 14242 in the Northern hemisphere is another
source of flares in the past 24 to 48 hours, but these events are currently
at a low-C level.
Although NOAA 14341 is reducing the area (840 to 500 millionths), it
