Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A new region set to appear on the southeast limb has been the source of several intermediate level flares today, including an M1.6 at 04:33 UT, and shall be the new target region. Given that the region is largely occulted the actual magnitude of these flares is likely to be significantly higher. Activity is expected to increase over the next 24 hours as the region rotates on to the visible disk.

The position of the target region on 6-Aug-2012 at 09:00 UT is:

S14E87, ( -916", -233" )
