Solar activity continues at a low level. A number of small flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being a C3.1 from NOAA 14161 at 18:32 UT yesterday. NOAA 14161 is the newly numbered active region in the southeastern portion of the disk. While this region is currently classified as an alpha type region, this classification may change as the region moves further onto the disk. For now, NOAA 14161 shows notable signs of emerging flux and several closed-loop structures. NOAA 14161 will be the target region for the next 24 hours, with additional C-class activity expected.
