Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. Newly numbered active region, NOAA 14079, has traversed onto the disk from the northeastern limb and was the site of an M1.7 flare and several additional C-class flares over the last 24 hours. Currently this region is classified as a beta-type region but more may become apparent as this region progresses further onto the disk. Imaging suggests a pair of large sunspots to be within close proximity to each other that may evolve further in the next 24-48 hours. NOAA 14079 will be the new target region, with a chance for further isolated M-class events in the next 24 hours.
