I loved your movies! They are very interesting and fun to watch. Even though i stmbled across this web and have no intention of learning anything about the sun, i still find this pretty cool. I hope you guys keep up the good work. Oh one thing i can suggest is that maybe you should create a background for your website, for exam ple use your name, YPOP as a background. Don't make it to bright or too fancy b ecause then it would be too distracting. It's only a suggestion, so you can use it or not. An yway, i love your site. Nice work guys!

The Museum of Arts and Sciences and Planetarium feature a monthly "MOAS AFTER HOURS" program on the 1st Tuesday of each month. This is the first evening afte r DST begins and we will be featuring white light solar observing with our small telescopes instead of the night time objects. My featured topic this evening after a live "Da ytona Beach Sky Tonight" planetarium presentation is "The Sun - Our Star". I will be using your "Surfing for Sunbeams" web site and the recent photos and m ovies from the YOHKOH satellite as a virtual tour of the sun. My internet compu ter is interfaced with the projection video system in the planetarium chamber an d we will go "l ive" on your site for the tour. Great web page! Roger Hoefer, Curator of Astron omy.

Great website! I would like to download some of this material for use in my classroom. I am currently developing the Air Force's first formal Space Environment Forecas ting course to be taught at Vandenberg AFB, California. These students will work at the Air Force's 55 Space Weather Squadron in Schreiv er AFB, CO, the equivalent to the DoC's Space Environment Center in Boulder, CO. Some of this material will be invaluable to my students. Classes start next October. Great stuff!

Thanks for the lesson plans. I act as a resource for teachers in my community for science lesson plans, specifically about astronomy. I work closely with thi rd and seventh grade teachers. Along with your sundial plans, we have sun charti ng diaries, and measure the height of tall objects by measuring their shadows twice a year.
