Dear Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is very low. The target region has rotated
further onto the visible disk and has now been designated as NOAA 12770.
This region currently shows a beta/C-type sunspot group classification,
but identification of possible penumbra on its trailing-polarity spots
is compromised by foreshortening effects close to the limb. NOAA 12770
has continued producing A-class activity in the past 24 hours, but more
low B-class flares are possible over the next 24-hour period.

The position of NOAA 12770 on 4-Aug-2020 at 13:00 UT is:

N21E65 , ( -801", 298" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Shaun Bloomfield (Northumbria University)
