Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity continues at a very low level with no sunspots
on the visible solar disk. The target region produced a minor
X-ray event (an ~A9 flare from the GOES-15 long flux) in the
last 24 hours. This region is emerging magnetic flux. Very minor
activities (say A-class flares) are likely in the next 24 hours.

The approximate position of the target on January 19 at 20:30 UT is:
N16E28 (-420”, 300")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
