MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

The current visible solar disk is spotless. The
only noteworthy event since the last message
was a limb occulted B5.4 at 08/07/17:01 UT
produced by NOAA 2850 located well beyond
the SW limb at approximately S30. The large
spotless target plage was unchanged and
quiescent in the past 24 hour period. Minor B-class
activity is possible in the next 24 hours.

The position of the target on August 08 at 14:00 UT is:
N26E67 (Solar X = -785", Solar Y = 377")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
