Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity is still at a low level. The largest event since
the last message was a C2.3 flare at 19:47 UT on
23-Oct-2023 produced by the close pair of the target region
NOAA 13468 and a plage region (S14W25). 13468
(alpha/H-type) was stable in its magnetic complexity and
shall still be the target. Interested observers should also try
to include the plage region (S14W25) in their field-of-view if
possible. C-class activity is possible in the following 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 13468 on 24-Oct-2023 at 07:30 UT is:

S09W29 (463", -225")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Qiao Li (Purple Mountain Observatory)
