Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C5.8 flare at 16:54 UT
on Jan. 14 from the target region NOAA 13541. This region
produced another three low C-class flares as well. It has been
downgraded to a beta/C-type configuration today. We will continue
to watch this region for a further 24 hours. Please also include
NOAA 13540 (S19W56) in your field of view if possible. 13540
was designated as a beta-gamma/D-type configuration and
produced two low C-class flares. Additional C-class activities
are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13541 on January 15 at 08:30 UT
S22W53 (723", -322")
