"General LAWS of Physics"
Hi, my name is Andrés
(2003), I have been doing research in stellar magnetic activity under
direction of Dr.
Dibyendu Nandi and Dr.
Piet Martens. The idea was to take a dynamo model
in the context of the Sun and apply it to study stellar magnetic
and discussion on the work i did can be found here.
I'm currently finishing a Physics
major, an Electronic
Engineer major and a Music minor in the Universidad

After spending two months on the United States with people from several different states and people from India, Holland, England and France and assuming that this sample is representative, I have reached the conclusion that almost everyone in the world is really nice and that the differences between people of different parts of the world as a whole (Germans, Russians, etc.) are completely superficial.
On the other hand I have been thinking a lot about my country and Latin America as a whole, this summer I saw for second time a Brasilian movie about a story which ocurred in the slums of Rio de Janeiro called "City of God", seeing it again here in Bozeman where the contrast is so strong between the day to day life of people here and day to day life of most people in Latin America is too shocking for me, I have been very sad and when I think about that, there is nothing more painful that the question "What can I do?". Most of the people I know, including myself, try not to think about that to much in order to avoid sadness but I don't know why being here very far away from that part of reality and surrounded by people that live in blissful ignorance I find so difficult not to think about it again and again. "What can I do?".
