The SolarNuggets continue the earlier series of RHESSI Nuggets, and are now located at
https://heliowiki.smce.nasa.gov/wiki/index.php/SolarNuggets
The entries for March 2025 are as follows:
No. 490, “Proton Beam Energy Deposition as a Mechanism of Deep Photospheric Heating,” by Samuel GRANOVSKY and Alexander KOSOVICHEV: There is evidence for proton beams in white-light flares.
No. 491, “Solar Rollercoaster,” by Mohamed NEDAL et al.: Looping the loop in the solar corona; the flare/CME SOL2024-05-14 reveals large-scale helical motion in the eruption.
As always, we welcome new items and encourage opinion pieces and news items as well as descriptions of new discoveries.
Just email Hugh Hudson with a page of text and 2-3 nice figures.
