X-ray light curves of flaring loops View all project descriptions by submitter

Siming Liu Submitted: 12-Nov-2009 07:29

It is generally accepted that turbulence plays important roles in flares. We are modeling the turbulence evolution and the consequent particle acceleration, plasma heating and cooling, and chromospheric evaporation in flaring loops. The model predicted light curves will be used to fit RHESSI spectrograms. Source structure will be considered in the later phase of this project.
